Q: Where is New Holland Summer Fest?
Summer Fest is held in the New Holland Community park located in New Holland, PA.

Q: Where Can I stay over for Summer Fest?
There are many fine motels and hotels in the area. Download a list.

Q: Will there be food that the public can sample?
Generally, no, however there will be PLENTY of food vendors.

Q: Is there an admission fee?
Yes, there is a $1.00 general admission fee, children under 8 years old get in for FREE. Tickets are good for the whole day, and all proceeds benefit the New Holland Community Park and Fire Company.

Q: Will "kiddie rides" be given on the motorcycles?
No.

Q: How will I know who is selling food?
There will be signs to indicate concessional stands.

Q: Is the park handicap accessible?
Yes, it is. If you require special assistance, please notify a festival worker.

COMPETITORS


Q: If entries in the Chef’s Choice category need to be cooked, must they be cooked on site?
Yes, they must be cooked the day of the competition after inspection by the Q Patrol.

Q: What time is meat inspected for competitors?
Once you have checked in and located your site, your meat will be inspected.

Q: How do I become a challenger in the Cook Off?
Download our application and fill it out. Return the application with payment to Summer Fest Committee.

Q: What rules do I need to follow to be a contestant?
Rules are included with the application to compete. They follow KCBS guidelines and our own rules.
